Pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code), Bed & Breakfast Villa Eugenia will acquire your personal data. Your information will be processed in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency, while protecting your privacy and rights.

Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, we hereby provide you with the following information:

by law: functional to the exercise of the rights and obligations established by law and/or contractual provisions, regulations and community legislation;

contractual: to perform obligations arising from contracts to which you are a party or to fulfill, before the conclusion of the contract, your specific requests.

for commercial information: to provide you with information on our products, services, courses and/or initiatives, invitations to events and demonstrations organised by us.

MANDATORY/OPTIONAL NATURE

Providing data is mandatory by law for contractual fulfillment. Providing data for commercial information purposes is optional.

CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSING TO PROVIDE DATA

Refusal to provide data for legal and contractual purposes could result in the failure or partial execution of the contract and/or provision of the service.

Any refusal to process your data for commercial purposes will result in us not sending you messages to update you on any promotions of our services, initiatives, and communications about events we promote.

COMMUNICATION TO OTHER SUBJECTS

Only in the case of data processing for existing contracts, the data will be disclosed to authorized collaborators of Bed & Breakfast Villa Eugenia, acting as Data Processors or Persons in Charge, and may be disclosed to credit institutions and/or independent professionals with whom our facility uses, including associated entities, as well as to public authorities and administrations (a list can be requested from our facility), solely for the execution of the operations and/or transactions requested by you and/or for legal obligations. The entities belonging to the above categories, to whom your data may be disclosed, will use such data as data controllers, with the exception of the entities designated as Data Processors.

For commercial information purposes, your data may be disclosed exclusively to our company's representatives who have been informed and trained in the operational procedures for data processing as required by Legislative Decree 196/03, in full compliance with the principles of fairness and lawfulness.

DATA DISSEMINATION

The data will not be disclosed. Bed & Breakfast Villa Eugenia guarantees the protection of the personal data provided and makes every reasonable effort to protect its IT infrastructure from external intrusions and to use the information in the manner chosen by the user.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

We remind you that you can access, request rectification, and/or object to the processing of your personal data at any time by simply sending a request by email to isabella@bbvillaeugenia.com. Your requests will be processed as quickly as possible, and in any case within 15 days of receipt, as established by the Italian Data Protection Authority.

The Data Controller will provide you with the feedback required by law should you wish to assert your rights under Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, which we reproduce in full below for your convenience.

LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO. 196/2003 RIGHT OF ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER RIGHTS

  1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning him or her, even if not yet recorded, and communication of such data in an intelligible form.
  2. The interested party has the right to obtain information on: a) the source of the personal data; b) the purposes and methods of processing; c) the logic applied in the event of processing carried out with the aid of electronic means; d) the identification details of the data controller, data processors, and the designated representative pursuant to Article 5, paragraph 2; e) the entities or categories of entities to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it in their capacity as designated representative in the territory of the State, data processors, or persons in charge of processing.
  3. The interested party has the right to obtain: a) updating, rectification, or, where interested therein, integration of the data; b) deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed; c) certification that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) have been notified, including their content, to those to whom the data was communicated or disseminated, except where such compliance proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared to the right being protected.
  4. The interested party has the right to object, in whole or in part: a) for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him or her, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection; b) to the processing of personal data concerning him or her for the purposes of sending advertising or direct sales materials or for conducting market research or commercial communications.
